COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State’s 2026 recruiting class had to undergo a bit of a shift in philosophy.

With the elimination of the spring transfer portal window, and the Buckeyes’ expectation to be playing into, or past the window, there was an increased focus on high school recruiting this cycle.

That was evident on Wednesday, as Ohio State signed 25 prospects, with two more (as of late Wednesday night) still committed, but not signed.
