Delta Air Lines has launched a campaign to recognize acts of kindness this holiday season as part of its 100-year business anniversary celebration. Between this week and January 5, 100,000 acts of kindness by Delta’s customers can be honored by the airline’s employees with Holiday Medallion cards.
Despite their Medallion name, the cards aren’t tied to loyalty status or flight activity and will only be awarded to customers who, “embody the holiday spirit,” the company said in a press release.
Additionally, customers will be able to recognize Delta employees who go above and beyond with Job Well Done Certificates. The airline will send more than 40,000 certificates to Delta 360°, Diamond Medallion and Platinum Medallion Members with confirmed holiday travel.
