GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The Rosa Parks Circle Ice Rink is set to open for the winter this week.

Weather-permitting, the rink will kick off the season on Friday, Dec. 5, in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids, located at 135 Monroe Center Street NW.

The ice rink will be open every day through Feb. 27. Regular operating hours and any weather-related changes will be posted on the Grand Rapids Parks and Recreation Facebook page as well as online here . The community can also call the closure hotline at (616) 456-3699.

As of the opening date, weather-permitting, the rink will be open for hour-and-a-half-long skating sessions from noon to 7:30 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
