WASHINGTON — The Fairfax County School Board has agreed to resolve a lawsuit that charged Fairfax County Public Schools with using gender identity policies to discriminate against a student. America First Legal, a law nonprofit affiliated with President Donald Trump administration officials declared the conclusion a victory on Wednesday.

In the "offer of judgment," the Fairfax County School Board agreed to pay the former student who filed the lawsuit $50 and cover all attorney fees that she accrued during the suit. Legal counsel for Fairfax County School Board said the concession was not "an admission of liability or wrongdoing by the school board and is inadmissible in any proceeding as evidence for such admission."
