NORTH VERNON, Ind. – AAM Metal Forming in North Vernon made a significant donation to the North Vernon Police Department (NVPD) Narcotics Task Force on Wednesday, December 3.

The local manufacturing facility makes connecting rods for a variety of automobiles. According to NVPD, this contribution goes to combat narcotics activity in the community and strengthen the ability to investigate and dismantle drug trafficking operations.

Task Force Commander Heffelfinger stated, “Donations like this have a tremendous impact on small-town police departments. Every contribution allows us to enhance our equipment, expand our capabilities, and better protect the families who call North Vernon home. We’re grateful for partners who stand with us in this mission.”
