During a public meeting last month in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, a procession of speakers demanded an explanation from the Hopkinton Police Department about how the agency handled a situation involving a convicted sex offender.

As we first reported in an extensive NBC10 Boston investigation , surveillance video showed the night Petros Sismanis assaulted a teen employee in the supply closet in the basement of his business, Hillers Pizza.

The video also revealed Sismanis followed the victim and her mom to the parking lot, pleading with them not to call the police and blocking the vehicle from leaving.
