MADISON, Wis. -- Wisconsin football is making a change to next year's non-conference schedule, swapping a Power 5 team for a foe from the MAC.
The Badgers will take on Eastern Michigan on Sept. 19 at Camp Randall Stadium. Wisconsin was originally scheduled to take on Pitt on that date. The Badgers and Pitt will meet in Dublin, Ireland in 2027.
Wisconsin and Eastern Michigan have met four times since 1991, with the last meeting coming in 2021. The Badgers had no problem beating the Eagles that day, 34-7, behind Chez Mellusi's 144 rushing yards.
The Badgers' other 2026 non-conference opponents are Notre Dame and Western Illinois. The Badgers will take on the Fighting Irish on Sept. 6 at Lambeau Field.
