MOSES LAKE, Wash. – The Moses Lake Education Association (MLEA) and Moses Lake School District (MLSD) have reached a tentative agreement following a week-long strike.

Heather Whittall, President of the MLEA, stated that association members will soon meet to discuss and vote on ratifying the agreement.

“It was a long and stressful week for our members and for the Moses Lake community,” Whittall said. “We appreciate everyone’s fortitude and patience as our bargaining teams worked to get us a tentative agreement.”

For the contract to be finalized, the agreement requires approval from both the Moses Lake school board and the MLEA.
