PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University students are reacting to the news that head coach Jimmy Rogers will be leaving after just one season.

Rogers announced his departure on Friday, leaving students feeling unsettled. Many had heard him speak about rebuilding the program at the start of the season.

Josh, a student, reflected on the situation. "100% yes. 'Cause I talked to people who went to his initial press conference as soon as he got to WSU, and how he talked about rebuilding the school and his future here. This is a complete 180 from that press conference," said Josh.

The turnover of leadership at WSU has been noticeable. Just a month before, the athletic director also left, impacting campus morale.
