A man who died after being found at a property in Inverness has been remembered as a "gifted musician" after being named locally.
Iain Gordon Macfarlane, 32, from the Ullapool area, died following an incident at Strathspey Place on Thursday, December 4. Emergency services rushed to the residential street off Inshes Road in the city, after the alarm was raised at around 8.30am.
Ambulance crews attended and a 32-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. A 52-year-old man was later arrested in connection with the death.
His sudden death was announced by Lochbroom and Coigach Free Church who described him as a " gifted musician and friend to many, who will be sorely missed." The church is hosting a special service of reflection on Sunday, December 7, in his honour.
