LEDYARD, Conn. (WFSB) - A suspect is in custody after a stabbing incident in Ledyard on Friday night.

According to the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Police, officer were called to a residence on Fanning Road after a report of a disturbance with possible injuries at around 8:18 p.m.

When police arrived, they found a victim suffering from multiple stab wounds.

The suspect was later found by police and he was arrested and charged for his alleged involvement.

Officials said there is no threat to the community.

We don’t yet know the condition of the victim.

This incident remains under investigation at this time.

No further details were released.
