SUFFIELD, CT. (WFSB) - A man was hospitalized after a rollover crash on Route 159 in Suffield.

Police say that they responded to the crash at around 7:16 p.m. on East Street South just south of Boston Neck Road. Authorities said the minivan was traveling north in the area when it drove off the road and rolled over after colliding with trees.

The Suffield Fire Department and Suffield Volunteer Ambulance Association assisted at the scene. The driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, was conscious and alert after being extricated from the minivan.

He was transported to the hospital with injuries. The extent is unknown.

The investigation is ongoing and the road has reopened.
