ROCKY HILL, Conn. (WFSB) - A heavy police presence is seen in Rocky Hill on Saturday morning.
At around 8 a.m. officers were called to Forest Park Apartments located on West Street for a domestic call that escalated into a barricaded person incident, according to the Rocky Hill Police Department.
After receiving the 911 call, crews arrived on scene and instructed an individual to exit the building but he refused to comply with law enforcement.
Officials said there is no immediate threat to the public.
The apartment building was evacuated while police investigate.
Police said they do not if the individual is armed.
Multiple agencies are responding, including State Police, Cromwell, Manchester, Glastonbury, Rocky Hill and SWAT.
