RAEFORD, N.C. (WTVD) -- A Hoke County man won a $236,788 Cash 5 jackpot.
Anthony McAndrew bought a Quick Pick ticket for the November 27 drawing at Fast Mart on Rockfish Road in Raeford.
He claimed his prize on Thursday at lottery headquarters in Raleigh, taking home $169,902 after federal and state tax withholdings.
Cash 5 is one of six lottery games in North Carolina, offering tickets at retail locations and online through the lottery's website or mobile app.
Hoke County has benefited from over $47 million in lottery-funded grants, which helped build a new high school.
