An incredible transport project is set to transform five major countries in Africa by providing easy access for people to move across the destinations. The Abidjan-Lagos Highway Corridor is a 1,028-km (639m) coastal highway that will connect Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Ghana, Togo, Benin and Nigeria in efforts to boost regional trade and development within the West African region.

Plans for the major project gained momentum at the 2022 Africa Investment Forum Market Days, where it secured a substantial $15.6 billion (£11.8 billion) investment for the road.
