Anyone who goes to a hospital knows how expensive it can be, particularly if they have high deductibles on their insurance or no insurance at all.

Michigan House Speaker Matt Hall said Friday that he's considering pursuing a new state commission or fee schedules to limit hospital charges, The Detroit News reports.

The Kalamazoo County Republican made the comments during an appearance on WKAR's "Off The Record" overtime segment while discussing his caucus's priorities for the upcoming year.
