CRAVEN COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - A family is without their trailer home near Vanceboro after a fire broke out early this morning.

According to Craven County officials, Vanceboro fire crews were called to the trailer on fire at 451 Spruill Town Road around 3:45 a.m.

Officials say four people were inside the trailer at the time of the fire, and one person had minor injuries.

No one was taken to the hospital.

Officials say the trailer is a total loss, and the Red Cross is assisting the family.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
