The weather in NYC is frightful — and not the slightest bit delightful.

Although Mother Nature did spare us a storm during last week’s arctic blast , it appears she’s back with vengeance.

Monday, December 8th marks the coldest day in NYC since February 2025 , according to the NYC Emergency Management System , and the record-breaker is one for the books. (Mind you, it’s only 11am.)

If you’re not inside cocooned within your throw blanket, consider this your cue.

We hate to break it to you folks, but not only is today considered the coldest day in 10 months, but the NYC Emergency Management System says there are plenty of other exciting weather features that make today extra frigid:
