A Sterling Heights man is accused of intentionally hitting a school safety officer and a junior high school principal with his vehicle when he refused to move when asked as vehicles blocked the bus lane.

Lemuel Young, 45, is charged with two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, a four-year felony, according to a release from the Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office. He remained in the jail as of Monday, Dec. 8, according to online jail records.
