A wild video circulating on social media appears to show a baseball bat assault in the lanes of traffic just before the George Washington Bridge toll plaza in Fort Lee.

Sources say the incident happened Monday morning, Dec. 8. Footage shows it happened near the exit to 9W, the last exit before the bridge.

The footage, recorded by Instagram user @protrucker11 and shared widely after being posted by @jerseytalks, shows both men fighting in active lanes of traffic. The two appear to struggle over the bat as the bat-wielding man repeatedly hits the other man and knocks his phone out of his hands.

The circumstances surrounding the confrontation remain unclear. 

Daily Voice has reached out to NJSP for details. The PAPD said that the NJSP is the arresting agency, however, it's unclear if any arrests had been made.
