FLORENCE, Ariz. (KVOA) - In a significant move, Pinal County Attorney Brad Miller announced a new collaboration with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to target undocumented immigrants suspected of violent criminal histories. This marks what Miller claims to be a first for a county attorney's office in Arizona.

Miller emphasized the initiative's aim to enhance community safety by empowering veteran members of his office with the authority and training to arrest undocumented immigrants involved in violent crimes.

"Human trafficking, drug trafficking, human smuggling and crimes against children, that’s the focus of our office because we believe it’s a very small percentage of the population committing the most dangerous, violent, egregious crimes," Miller said.
