ASHLAND, Ky. (WYMT) - One Pike County man was sentenced to 17 and a half years in prison for his role in producing child sexual abuse material.

According to his plea agreement, Lonnie James Maynard, 54, of Raccoon, engaged in the production of child sexual abuse material.

In the plea agreement, it stated that during a search of Maynard’s phone, there had been a Snapchat conversation in which Maynard directed a minor to send him sexually explicit photos.

At Maynard’s direction, the minor sent Maynard a sexually explicit video of them.

Under federal law, Maynard must serve 85 percent of his prison sentence.
