WASHINGTON — A Florida driver’s evening commute took a terrifying turn this week when a small plane crash-landed on Interstate 95 and slammed into her car.

Dash camera video shows the moment when the twin-engine aircraft came down during rush hour traffic Monday evening , landing on top of a Toyota Camry near Cocoa, along Florida's Atlantic coast, about an hour east of Orlando. The crash happened around 5:45 p.m.

CBS Miami identified a 57-year-old woman from Melbourne who was in the car that was hit. She was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The plane’s pilot, a 27-year-old man from Orlando, and his 27-year-old passenger from Temple Terrace were not hurt.

The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash.
