MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (Northern News Now) - The Minneapolis Airport Police are investigating tonight after a man was struck by a snowplow at Terminal Two and died.
Airport officials say the incident happened shortly after 7:30 p.m. in an airport parking lot.
The victim, a 47-year-old man, was hit by a plow that was clearing the parking lot.
An airport ground handler directing a plane in at the time witnessed the large law enforcement response following the fatal incident.
The witness tells us the victim was a Sky Chef or airline catering employee.
The Minnesota State Patrol is assisting in the investigation with the reconstruction of the scene.
