Tony Noceti, the owner of Stockton 99 Speedway, has been downgraded from the ICU and is no longer in critical condition after suffering injuries in a crash with his wife last month, according to his daughters.

Tony and Rowena Noceti's routine date night ended in tragedy when the crash left them hospitalized .

Tony's daughter, Danica Noceti, previously told KCRA 3 she was alerted to the incident by her mother's iPhone watch, which allowed her to hear background noise and instructions from the fire chief.

Tony underwent what the family hopes will be his final surgery on Tuesday, his family said on Facebook.
