A third person has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the killing of four people on Carry the Kettle Nakoda Nation earlier this year.
A 17-year-old boy is charged with four counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder, following an "ongoing and complex investigation," Saskatchewan RCMP said in a Wednesday news release.
The charges relate to the deaths of two men and two women found inside a home on the First Nation, about 80 kilometres east of Regina, on Feb. 4, 2025.
The four victims were identified as Tracey Hotomani, 34, and Terry Jack, 51, both from Carry the Kettle Nakoda Nation; Shauna Fay, 47, from Indian Head; and Sheldon Quewezance, 44, from Zagime Anishinabek.
