A firefighter was among two injured following an incident which saw Edinburgh's Grassmarket completely shut earlier today.
We previously reported how the area was closed to vehicles and a massive emergency service presence rushed to the area around 10.30pm on Thursday, December 11.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service crew member was among those injured at Heriot Bridge. The service also confirmed one member of the public was taken to the Royal Infirmary due to smoke inhalation.
The incident saw three fire trucks dispatched to the scene as well as a number of ambulances and police vehicles. The Grassmarket was shut to traffic at both ends.
