KINGMAN, AZ (AZFamily) — A man wanted for allegedly stealing several vehicles and breaking into a home as part of a days-long crime spree across Arizona and Nevada is in custody.

The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday Jeremiah Johnson was caught and taken to jail in Kingman.

On Friday, deputies say Johnson stole a dirt bike in Mesquite, Nevada , and drove it to Beaver Dam, Arizona , a community located roughly 11 miles away. The next morning, he allegedly stole a white pickup truck in Beaver Dam before crashing it.

Around noon on Saturday, deputies found Johnson near the stolen pickup truck and he ran away to the Virgin River. Mohave County K-9 Lilly was deployed and tracked Johnson through the river bottom until nightfall.
