EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) reports that the Red Line Superior Rapid Station in East Cleveland has reopened after being closed for several hours Thursday due to the investigation into a stabbing.
According to an RTA spokesperson, at approximately 1:04, transit officials were informed of a fight and a stabbing that occurred at the Superior Station.
"GCRTA Transit Police reported to the station and are leading the investigation. The Superior Station has been temporarily closed due to the ongoing investigation by GCRTA Transit Police. No additional information is available at this time," RTA tells 3News.
In its post on social media just before 2 p.m., RTA advised riders to use the Transit app to assist in reaching your destination.
