LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Students in Nebraska Wesleyan University’s first-ever “Give to Learn” class awarded a $10,000 grant to the Good Neighbor Community Center after choosing from eight local nonprofits.

The philanthropy course challenged students to research and select an organization that would benefit most from the funding. Students said the decision-making process taught them valuable lessons about community impact.
