Durham police will announce the outcome of a gun and drug investigation Friday morning.

The investigation, dubbed “Project Hydrogen,” resulted in officers seizing guns, drugs and cash, police said in a news release.

Officers have also arrested suspects.

Suspects have also been arrested in the probe, the release said.

Durham police Chief Peter Moreira and Det. Sgt. Brad Corner will speak to reporters at 9 a.m. at the police service’s headquarters in Whitby.
