A husband accused of killing his wife in Wolverhampton has appeared in court.

Shivinder Sandhir is alleged to have murdered Anjanee Sandhir earlier this year.

The 42-year-old appeared at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Friday, December 12.

He spoke only to confirm his name and enter his not guilty plea.

The defendant denied a single count of murder.

Judge Michael Chambers KC told Sandhir that a trial date had been set for May 18, 2026.

Sandhir, of Finchfield Road, Wolverhampton, was remanded in custody.

Anjanee was found dead at a property in Finchfield Road, Wolverhampton, during the evening of Monday, September 29.
