COLUMBIA, S.C. — The Richland County Sheriff's Department (RCSD) now says they've made an arrest in a shooting early Friday morning left one person injured.
Officers announced 27-year-old Mikalo Coles is now in custody.
Deputies were called to the 10000 block of Two Notch Road around 1 a.m. Friday, regarding a report of a suspicious person. That location is near Brickyard Road in northeast Richland County.
Arriving at the scene, deputies located a man on the ground behind a restaurant with a gunshot wound to the midsection. Deputies rendered first aid until EMS arrived and transported the victim to a local hospital.
