ATLANTA — A student at North Atlanta High School was stabbed in the face by another student on Friday morning, a spokesman for Atlanta Public Schools said.
A seventeen-second video shows one student lying on his back in a hallway trying to fend off another student who strikes him in the head at least three times.
Another video, which runs just over a minute, shows a student reach into his backpack and pull out a sharp object, which appears to be a pair of scissors, and begin to strike the victim. The video seems to show the student bleeding around his right eye.
11Alive corroborated the video after speaking with students and parents about the incident. A source told 11Alive the attack happened around 8:30 a.m.
As of 10:30 a.m., there was no apparent police presence at the school at 411
