Two men were seriously injured in separate motorcycle crashes on Oahu on Thursday evening, Honolulu Emergency Medical Services said.
The first crash occurred around 7:15 p.m. at North School Street and Alaneo Street in Liliha, where a 30-year-old unhelmeted motorcyclist suffered multiple injuries after colliding with a vehicle. Paramedics treated him and took him to a trauma hospital in serious condition.
A second crash happened shortly after 9:30 p.m. on Kaukonahua Road near Wahiawa, where a 19-year-old helmeted motorcyclist apparently crashed his bike. He was treated and transported to a hospital in serious condition.
No other details were immediately available.
