ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - The First Alert Weather Team has declared Sunday night, December 14, and Monday morning, December 15 as First Alert Weather Days due to high confidence in air temperatures around the low-mid 20s and feels-like temps as low as the mid 10s.
A cold front will move through on Sunday, causing temperatures to plummet during the overnight hours. This will be a dry front, meaning that no wintry precip or road impacts are expected .
This will be the first hard freeze of the season that we will also need to drip faucets and cover exposed outdoor pipes! Please make sure to finish your preparations this weekend!
While temperatures will warm up into the low 40s by the afternoon, wind chills could stay in the upper 30s for some during the day.
