WORCESTER, Mass. —
Authorities are investigating after a driver slammed into a Dollar Tree store in Worcester, Massachusetts on Friday afternoon.
The collision occurred at the store's Grafton Street location around 4:10 p.m.
A spokesperson for the Worcester Fire Department said the driver was an older woman and the lone occupant of the vehicle.
She was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries.
According to investigators, the driver did hit another car before entering the store.
It's unclear if anyone was inside the Dollar Tree at the time of the crash.
The store remains closed for the time being.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation and it's unclear if the driver will face any charges.
