Former Nebraska head football coach Scott Frost is suing the Nebraska Board of Regents.
The lawsuit was filed Friday in Lancaster County District Court. The lawsuit alleges improper tax liability in excess of $1,720,000. According to the suit, it's due to phantom income wrongly included on Frost's 2022 W-2.
It claims Frost did not receive the tax document until September 2023, which did not permit him to timely file his return. It resulted in Frost incurring legal and late filing fees, according to the filing.
