MANCHESTER, Conn. — A 21-year-old motorcyclist was seriously hurt after a car collision in Manchester Sunday afternoon, according to the town's police department.

At 12:27 p.m., police went to the intersection of Woodbridge Street and East Middle Turnpike for the crash.

Investigators learned that a car was traveling east on Woodbridge Street and collided with a 21-year-old Manchester man on a motorcycle, traveling west on the same street, according to police.

First responders brought the motorcyclist to the hospital for treatment of his serious injuries.

Police have cleared the scene of the crash and there are no traffic delays or road closures.

They are asking any witnesses or people with information to contact Officer Nicholas Sinopoli at 860-533-8620.
