NATCHITOCHES PARISH, La. (KALB) - On July 11, a Natchitoches man was arrested for being wanted on multiple outstanding warrants in both Louisiana and Texas, according to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office.

NPSO shared that Denies R. Evans, Jr. , was pulled over for operating without headlights near the intersection of Texas and 6th Streets in the Natchitoches city limits. They learned that he was wanted by the 10th Judicial District Court in Natchitoches for failure to appear. He was taken into custody and charged with:

One count of failure to appear on May 27, 2025, for probation review, resisting an officer and battery on a police officer
