You’d think that if you headed out early enough on a Friday to beat the crowds, you would, in fact, beat the crowds. This did not happen, as a large portion of Edmonton appeared to be playing hooky from work and school to attend day 2 of Taste of Edmonton. It was a rather warm day, and instead of heading for some of my favourite curries or Jamaican fare, it seemed like a better idea to find some cool dishes to beat the heat.
