NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - There’s a large police presence in Nicholasville.

According to a social media post, officers with the Nicholasville Police Department and the US Marshals Service are serving a high-risk arrest warrant in the 100 block of Shelby Way.

Police say the US Marshals consider the subject to be armed and dangerous.

Police are asking people who live in the area to stay home and refrain from driving through the area.
