A new fitness center opened on the Pierson High School campus in Nogales last Friday, July 25, open to all and free to use. The center includes equipment for bodyweight strength training workouts as well as a dance studio pad for zumba and other activities.
At a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday morning, Superintendent Angel Canto presented the new space alongside sponsor Arizona Complete Health. That organization and the National Fitness Campaign contributed funding to make the fitness court possible. ×
