HOOVER, Ala. ( WBRC ) - The Hoover Candidates Forum is holding a two-night event, featuring the candidates running for Hoover City Council and Hoover Mayor.

The event will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 5 at 6 p.m., and Thursday, Aug. 7 at 7 p.m., at Shades Crest Baptist Church in Bluff Park. WBRC will livestream both forums.

Residents are encouraged to attend and engage with the candidates as they share their visions for the future of Hoover. The forum on Aug. 5 will focus on the candidates for Hoover City Council. The forum on Aug. 7 will feature the candidates for Hoover Mayor.

Format

This event is structured as a forum, not a debate. Each candidate will individually address the same set of questions, with a timed response. Community members are encouraged to submit their questions
