CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Carolina Panthers are scheduled to open a brand-new fieldhouse in 2027 . Unfortunately, the joint practice they're scheduled to have with the Browns comes a little bit earlier than that date.

Rain poured down over Charlotte Aug. 5, with between a tenth of an inch and a quarter of an inch expected over the course of the day. According to the National Weather Service , more rain, and even a potential thunderstorm, is expected in the morning Aug. 6, which is when the Browns and Panthers are slated to conduct a joint practice at Carolina's training facility adjacent to Bank of America Stadium in downtown Charlotte.
