PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A Vancouver crash between a vehicle and a bicyclist led to an extended road closure Tuesday morning.

Officials responded to the crash at NE 127th Ave. and NE 49th St. in the North Image neighborhood around 8:40 a.m.

The cyclist was taken to the hospital, according to police. Their current status is not known.

Traffic unit investigators are still at the scene as of 11:30 a.m. Officials say to avoid the area.
