The warming trend continues today as high temperatures will be near seasonal in the upper 80s. Humidity is also increasing and heat indices will near the lower to middle 90s.

There is a storm system moving towards Mid-MO. The system is drying up as it gets closer, but showers are still possible mainly in areas north of I-70 and west of HWY 63.

There is another chance for showers on Thursday. Thursday's rain chance looks to be better, but there will still be areas that stay completely dry.

Rain will not be heavy. Most areas will get enough rain to wet the ground with some areas picking up near 0.5".

Temperatures will return to the 90s on Thursday just in time for the Missouri State Fair in Sedalia.
