LAMOURE COUNTY, N.D. (KFYR) - LaMoure County experienced some heavy rainfall Tuesday evening.
The county was put under a tornado watch as well as some severe thunderstorm warnings. Thankfully, the area didn’t receive hail, but the news wasn’t all good.
“Our township roads did get some damages. Specifically, the reports that I heard from townships were between the Edgeley area,” said Kimberly Robbins, emergency manager. “We had some small streams going over roads, which then the township officers were forced to close those roads. When the water had gone down this morning, they do have a significant washing of that gravel that they will have to replace.”
They also saw some minor wind damage to trees and branches.
