WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - A Nickerson School District employee was arrested Wednesday on child sex crime charges, according to the Reno County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said Ryan Stoecklein, a coach with the district, faces charges of sexual exploitation of a child under 18 and attempted unlawful sexual relations. A criminal complaint accuses him of trying to have sex with a student in the district where he worked.

Stoecklein is being held on a $120,000 bond. His first court appearance is scheduled for Thursday morning.
