WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) -- A woman was arrested after reports state she attempted to purchase merchandise with a stolen credit card and then ran from the store with the merchandise when the card declined.

The Warren Police Department was called to a dollar store on Parkman Road just before 1 p.m. Tuesday in reference to a theft. Dispatch was advised that the theft suspect was running on the street behind the store, according to the incident report.

When police got to the area, officers noted the suspect running with two "large bags" in her hand and being chased by two other women who were yelling and pointing the woman out to police, stating she was the thief.
